Smooth-Bor Plastics is pleased to announce we have joined the Plastiflex Group N.V. beginning March 4, 2025.
Smooth-Bor Plastics is a world class manufacturer of medical tubing systems, specializing in the production of heated tubes for continuous positive airway pressure (“CPAP”). This exciting partnership will further extend our product portfolio, add capabilities, and widen our global presence in the medical tubing industry.
The existing Smooth-Bor leadership team, Eric Carlson, CEO, Steve Caiozzo, President and CFO, and Jennifer Carlson, EVP will remain in place and headquartered in Laguna Hills, CA and production will continue in both the Laguna Hills, CA and Johor Bahru, Malaysia facilities. The California facility will be an important hub for the development of tubing systems and extrusion lines for the combined entity.
Smooth-Bor will continue to provide our customers with the highest standards of product quality and exceptional customer service while enhancing our capabilities through this strategic partnership. Please see the press release regarding the acquisition.
